The Kiddies At Play

Thanks to all of our kids on different nap schedules our time to start the group is a big ol range from 1-3. Rylan and Penelope seem to be on the same schedule so they had a bit of a private play date for about an hour. They checked out Penelope's bird Snowball. Rylan was trying to touch him and play with his toys, but Penelope wagged her finger to remind him that is not safe nor proper bird admiring behavior. They then went to enjoy Penelope's fab playroom. Her family happens to be going to Florida at the same time as ours so as the kids play, Meridith and I talked alot about how to make flying with a 15 month old seamless, and other topics related. Rylan was not fond of Penelope playing with her OWN toys as he thinks everything belongs to him. Don't worry though..her wagging finger told him it was not cool :-)
Melody and Julia seems to be on the same schedule since they came with in minutes of each other. We were happy to find out that Julia will be having a sister to play with in February! (CONGRATS to the Mancusi family!)Julia gravitated to the cd's (her favorite one was Wayne's World...excellent), and Mel wanted to fill her belly! Last but not least Anthony Joseph joined us! The mom's discussed local activities in the area, and the kids played. Penelope showed off her cute belly, Melody and Julia were in a giving mood and gave everyone everything they could find, Anthony Joesph enjoyed snacks and the world ball, and Rylan decided a perfect day was climbing up and down from a platform in the room. Overall a fantastic day which including a great spread and a look at Meridith's new paint jobs in her awesomely red kitchen, and Penelope's girly room!
Next week it will be at Pam's place. Many of us seem to be traveling around this time of year...which is why we missed Kerri and Ashley this week, next week the group will be minus Meridith and I!

A Great book for MOMS
I can not say I have read something so funny and true to my life!
If you are a MOM you MUST read this book and pass it on to other Mom's.

Bianca working on her April Page

My NYC Page

Tools of the Trade

Pam in Scrapping ACTION

Pam making Melody's 1st birthday page

Meridith hard at work making Penelope's costume

Yes I actually had to do a Yankee's Page for his Dad

This week while my husband was out of town on business, I gathered the craft lovers of the group and had a KID FREE night of crafting (with adult beverages of course, and fantastic mood setting music). It was great! Three of us got some well needed pages done in our scrapbooks and one of us made an incredibly cute Halloween costume. Although we chatted alot we also got ALOT DONE! So now we have decided we have to do this more often! We ended a night with a viewing of my national 15 min. of fame back in my NYC SINGLE days on the show Change of Heart. I think I might of scared them showing them this side of me, but it was anyway!

The Chatter Princess's House
This weeks moms group was held at the Chatter Princess you all saw in her at home video...motor mouth Julia! :-) Man can I tell you...when this kid has something to tell you ...she makes sure you are listening. She crawled up on my laugh and looked at me eye to eye and told me an entire of jibber jabber story that was VERY important and included a variety of hand gestures and when she was done with me...she up and left. She has a lot to say about the world I tell you...maybe we are looking at our future President.
Anyway...the group was smaller this week...we missed Meridith and Penelope who had a family day, and Pam and Melody who had a not so pleasant cold. I got to say usually the boys seem to be overwhelmed with all the lovely ladies in the room, but this time since it was a smaller gathering of lovely ladies they had a GREAT TIME. After our typical after MOM chat and kids at play, we went on a hunt for the "sheep butt" which wasn't something in the freezer, but a part of a matching toy gone missing. Luckily we found out that Ashley was the suspect plead guilty and it was found!
Lastly, in a rush to make it to mom's group that day (Rylan napped really late), I forgot my camera. So forgive me for jipping you this week bloggers!

Toddler thoughts
Brown Eyed Girl

I keep wagging my finger at Rylan but he just won't stop

Us boys have to stick together in this room of estrogen

Hey you wanna be roommates in my house?

Freckles the GUEST STAR (and toddler tortured cat)

Hello Ms Pigtails

These kids exhaust me

Mommy is my security blanket

Its raining its pouring ...

What do I get if I pull on this?

HI I wanna be one of the ladies!

My Belly Button for all to see

Twinkle Toes

Honey I'm Home

Are you satisfied with your stroller?
Finding the perfect stroller seems to be one of the first things you do when registering for a baby. As a new--soon -to-be mom you want nothing but the best. The bigger and the more gadgets the better! Once your little one is born and you are riding him/her in the pimped out stroller you realize it might just be to big and to clunky. Suddenly your child turns 1 and you are eyeing the umbrella stroller. You began to want something light, easy, without bells and whistles. On top of that, if you are thinking of having number 2 anytime soon you are comparing and eyeing the double stroller and the stand -sit-models.
Stroller envy is envy that never ends. There is just to many options with to many things to compare. You will be satisfied with your stroller when your child no longer needs one.

That poor cat
Today our group was at Bianca's and Anthony Joseph's home. It has been hard for all of us to meet up at the same time since our kids have all maneuvered their schedules around to their desired nap times (some have 1 others 2 and all at various times). We look forward to when they are all on the same page again...at least we hope that will happen! Bianca's cat Freckles became the play groups own petting zoo companion...sort of. Poor Freckles got pulled at, smacked, poked, and a kid favorite...hit tail. Poor Ashley found out pulling ones tail is not acceptable in cat land...as Freckles finally had it and gave her a swat. But for the most part the cat took some serious abuse from our littles ones, and he is probably thankful in his cat prayers right now that we are all gone and he only has ONE child in this household for now!
Ashley stunned me today when she was sitting next to me and said "HI" (clear as day with a smile) while waving...in other words HI I am here pay attention to me! Just like one of the girls! Penelope made me laugh when she scolded Rylan with a wagging finger every time he pulled at her or pitched a fit (which was as always very often). Yet again Rylan had another week of hitting, whining, crying, and plain out being pissed off that I had the nerve to bring him over his friends house to play (for his case he does have a cold so maybe he wasn't feeling up to snuff). Melody and Penelope were playing like they were roommates in the play house. Melody also expressed some serious concerns of her's to Penelope who looked at her with concern. Julia had a cute shirt that said "Everyone Loves Brown Eyed Girl", and was enjoying showing us her belly button! Anthony Joseph was as always a kind host who let all of them use his toys and often was caught sharing.
The Mom's all had great conversation as always! Kerri is off to a trip, Meridith is painting her Kitchen, Pam has got some business again, Emily is going to find out what she is having next week, and Bianca and I are setting up some scrapbooking time while Pete is away in New Jersey next week! :-)
Next week we are off to EMILY and JULIA'S HOUSE!

Who knew we would be so loved...
As many of you have noticed..I included a counter at the bottom of the page to see just how many "hits" we get to this website. I guessed 6..since there is 6 in the group...but apparently we are loved by MANY :-)
Just a shout out to those that linger here that are family and friends of ours or don't even know us (holla to those working in Boston checking us out!)
Don't worry ya'll there is no trespassing on this site...our group is open for ALL to read about, or laugh about, or learn some parenting tips you might not have thought of...or maybe you just want to see just how darn cute our kids are!!
Under each post there is a comment section...feel free to post a thought or reaction to posts posted on here! And Lastly...feel free to share...lets get that counter HIGHER!

Get in my belly.....lay off the goldfish crackers kid!
Anthony (Sr.) and I thought this was hysterical and nearly wet our pants! He totally looked like a 50 Year-old that day! We can just hear that Scottish accent in our heads! I think I need to get him some new shirts. Thanks for the laughs Aimee! xoxoxox
