This week we celebrated Easter over at Emily, Julia, and Lillian's house! Emily had her home so festive and filled with Easter spirit. We did two fun crafts that included decorating an egg and making bunnies that had cute mugs of the kids! Emily also made a fancy bunny cake and a yummy spread filled with goodies! She even got her husband to make us some Butternut Squash soup which was FILLED with YUM and good for you too! The kids also enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, while Lillian slept in her swing practically the entire day! Sadly Rylan was still not himself after an illness we had this past Easter weekend, so we had to leave early and didn't get enough pictures of the"crew". Hopefully next week we can get an abundance of Ashley and more of Melody!

Irish Jig for all the lil'Laddy's

Rylan and I hosted a St Pats' themed Moms group complete with corned beef and Celtic music! The kids all wore their Irish hats for at least a picture except of course my little bear who wanted nothing to do with it. Julia on the other hand wanted to keep putting it on and for me to KEEP taking her picture. She is a HAM! Ashley found great curiousity in baby Lillian, while Rylan still won't let him mother hold the infant longer then 10 seconds. Anthony Joseph, Ashley, Penelope, and Melody, all enjoyed plying hide the ball under their shirts. Anthony Joseph kept wanting more as he walked around with a ball on his belly (so cute). Here are so pics from the day (in no particular order)! Next week we are at the Mancusi household for an Easter themed party :-)

Playgroup at Bianca's and Anthony Joseph's home

This week we had group at Bianca's home. The kids enjoyed trying to torture the cat (poor freckles kept getting his eyes poked out and his food hidden from curious toddlers). The moms did their usual feasting on snacks while catching up on various subjects. We all commented on how much Lillian had changed in a matter of weeks. I attempted to hold baby Lillian but Rylan wouldn't allow it (he screamed with tears and all---he does not share his mom well). In a few more months we will be enjoying Bianca's baby too (we wait patiently to see if it will be another boy or a girl). We are all discussing starting a mom's book club focused around some uplifting and relative topics--another way to celebrate us! Next week Everyone will be Irish for a day--as we celebrate St Patricks Day at our house!
