This week Rylan and I hosted Mom's group! We had a joyful time since it included our dearest friends--Rylan's God Mother --Christina and her son Christian, who is about one month younger then Rylan. They recently moved from Boston to CT so naturally she had to meet the "gang". Christina had a little fan--Julia followed her around and gave her a mountain of hugs all day. Christian found an automatic admiration for Meridith and all the little ladies (as you will see in the pictures he was mac'ing all day long). Rylan found interest in baby Lillian and kept coming over to check her out (he still however will not let me hold her). Ashley took a BIG OL' nap today so she joined us a bit late, but the crowd sure was happy to see her. We missed having Bianca today (still in Italy) and Pam (her sister had a baby!), but look forward to seeing them at the next Mom's group at Emily's and the girls home!

We are in the midst of some Mom's group changes--seeing as the kids nap times seem to change--making it a 10am meeting instead of a 3pm. I am sure as time goes on this too will change--just as the group will be expanding with all the babies to come!

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Kerri and Ashley's home this week! In honor of Earth day the kids loved roaming around the backyard nature, and playing in the sand and water table. By the end of the day our kids were WELL exfoliated! :-)
We also had a fun Spring craft that included cute little pictures of the kids. The Moms really enjoyed the sort of frozen cream puffs and were tempted to eat the entire tub of them! Julia spent time with each adult and took a time out to rest with Meridith. Ashley hosted her best as she was such a great sharer with her things. Melody enjoyed playing outside and asking for her Mommy's help when wanting to climb something. Rylan would not leave the sand and water table and when Penelope saw him playing by himself she joined him! The cute part came when she would try to move closer to him and he would try to inch the opposite way!
We missed Bianca and Anthony Joseph who are currently enjoying a vacation in Italy!
Next week we Rylan and I are hosting and we will have some special guests--My friend Christina who is moving to CT and her son Christian! I ought to be a GREAT time!

FINALLY--A PARK DAY AND A REUNION

What a fun day we had today!
We met up at 10 am to enjoy the sunshine, let the kids run, and catch up with some old friends. Besides the "regulars" of the group, we met up with Lorena and Max, Lisa and Tommy, and Debbi and Mathew. It was great to see everyone and catch up! It was also great to have 3 more toddler boys around! It was difficult to catch up when we all had our toddlers running around itching to do different things at different parts of the park---but was still so wonderful to not only enjoy a sun filled day, but also to see faces we don't get to see often. Below are some pics of all the kids! Sadly I didn't catch Mathew who was a bucket full of energy and on the RUN! :-) (next time)
I am hoping we can do this more often and hopefully get some more of the old "hospital" group crew out to come and join us!
