A deer in headlights

If I was a track star I would hurdle this fence

The kids had a blast yesterday playing at our house. We missed Emily and Julia...not because of a new baby (yet)but because of a pesky fever on a not happy toddler. Apparently Rylan's new Christmas toys are a hit! Especially the Monster Tunnel!
As always us moms indulged in good food and fantastic adult conversation(which is a blessing when you say things other then "no", "sit", and "do you have poops?"...it expands our vocabulary!). The kids are all battling toddlerhood...as we ALL had to discipline in some form for some reason. The good thing is we are not alone. Sharing seems to be the hard topic they all are struggling to get over (Heck as adults we do to sometimes!).
Next week we are off to visit Pam and Melody!
I am hoping that soon we will also have a baby announcement to make as Emily nears her DUE DATE!

CONGRATS to the Perrone Family!!!

Bianca has announced her joyous news that she is expecting again! Anthony Joseph will be a Big Brother in Sep. 08'!
We are all so happy and excited for another baby being blessed to another great family!
CONGRATS PERRONE Family!

Awaiting Baby and Booties to Come

We all gathered at Emily's home today oohhing and ahhing over her 2 week from due date belly. We all noticed her baby swing out and front in center ready for a newborn to swing in. For all of us we can NOT WAIT until we have a newborn in the group to hold! Emily expressed the pure joy of knowing there would be a bundle of hands to free her too! I am quite sure once we hold baby Lillian the BABY BUG in the group will spread like wildfire.

After tea and talk other Mom's began to join us and we were blessed with some other news! The anticipated baby bug has already "bitten" another Mom in the group! Bianca announced she is expecting this Fall! And we all got to peek at her cute 1st ultrasound! She is feeling great! Anthony Joseph will be a BIG BROTHER in 2008!

I apologize there is no pictures this week! We all arrived and stayed so scattered thanks to our littles ones nap schedules that I didn't get the time. We were all also so wrapped up in a baby about to be born and ANOTHER on the way (YEY)!

A McDonalds Double Date!

I guess MEl wasn't happy with her Chicken Nuggets

Julia and Anthony Joseph

Mel and Rylan (Rylan refused to look at the camera)

A few of us Mom's met up at the Mall on Friday to get in a good walking workout and let the kids run free in the play area! After we all parted ways we surprisingly found us back together again huddled in front of McDonald's around lunchtime. A double date of two delightfully cute toddler couples WELL supervised! We all had the same idea...get our kids to eat lunch before heading home for hopefully a LONG Nap :-)

The CAKE made by Pam

ALL of the KIDS

We are happy to announce we surprised her!
After months of planning and lots of e-mails us Mom's pulled it off!
We had great food which included a beautiful cake (made by Pam), a alcohol free martini, and munchies galour. Each of us designed a onesie for the new baby to come which came out so cute and creative. We played a few games...the guess the baby board which included baby pics of the Mom's and the babies, and a get to know you game. The get to know you game wasn't a typical shower game, but since we always talk so much about being a MOM we found fun facts about eachother's lives prior to motherhood. Emily's gifts were group gifts that included a baby burrito wrap up blanket, a predesigned scrapbook, a babies r us card (we all know the value of having these when you have new one), and a gift for big sister Julia!

The kids had a good time too. They enjoyed feasting on animal crackers and any and all other goodies mom had. We had to adjust naps to all be there to surprise Emily so a few off the little natives were restless. As we go further into the toddler years we are all experiencing the added discipline that comes along with it. FUN times for ALL.

We all wish Emily and Dave a pain free delivery, lots of restful nights, and an easy transition to having two kids! We will all be waiting for baby Lillian's arrival!
