July 24th, Mom's group recaps @ Bianca's
Well, I'm not as good as Aimee is at this, but felt that in her absence, the Blog must go on.....plus it will give her something good to read when she comes back. Today's group was hosted at my house and we were missing a few friends. Aimee and Rylan are on vacation this week and hope they are enjoying themselves. Emily did have a real estate caravan in the morning, but Julia was not feeling well and did not want to risk spreading germs. So Pam, Meridith, Kerri and I were the only moms today.
Some big news was that Anthony (big Anthony that is) was accepted into the NY State troopers. We are unsure of the big lifestyle decision we will now have to make and the thought of moving....siiggggh. We will keep you posted.
Meridith told us of an interesting story of her and her husbands Harry Potter Mania. Can you believe Brian pulled an all nighter (split in 2 nights) to read the new book? Now that's dedication!
Additionally Kerri and Meridith will have a chance to work together doing some personal organizing for a new client. Not as big and "snooty" as the Westport job, but good money and right in Bethel.
Speaking of Bethel, Kerri and I discovered we both had run-in's with the crazy Herb Lady off Codfish hill road! I think she is out of business now. For all you readers boycott Sunrise Herb Farm!!!!
Lastly our Sweetheart Mom, Pam, entertained all the little ones with her great Elmo impression and reading and puppeteering with an Elmo book. The kids flocked to her and she held the room. Additional she help fix my "fridge phonics" magnets and they are now working perfectly.
We are looking forward to next weeks function at Emily and Julia’s house. Have a great week everyone!

For the devoted blog readers
I know when I get into reading a blog I check everyday to see any updates! I thought it would be kind of me to tell you I am off on vacation for the next week so the blog will not be updated! I will be back on board when I get back. How bout' we celebrate?
I had the pleasure to host mom's group this week and figured we had a lot to celebrate! We had 2 birthday's and a baby in da house! Meridith and Pam both turned 20 again :-)at least they look it!!! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM..I am posting while it is the start of you DAY!), and as you saw in my last post Emily is having another baby--YIPEE. (this makes all of our husbands cringe since we are now going home saying..."well....someone in our group is having another...when are we gonna?". Oh yeah that baby buzzzzzz. Some like mine want to have on the sooner the better, others want to wait until the financial spreadsheet says they can mate!BOYS! In the end of that conversation though we all agreed that we have a great life that lets us stay home and enjoy or little ones...so if we have to wait a little or continue to invite the conversation of babies OVER and OVER again---so be it! In the meantime we have Emily's to hold! So we ate cake in honor of our birthday gals, and soon to be mom again!
We also enjoyed some talk about our personal families (which was very "interesting"), how friends change when you have kids, and vacation(s). We also took them all out to the pool (minus Julia and Emily because they had to leave a bit early--NEXT TIME). The cutest thing ever is they were all topless in their swimmey diapers (the babies that is...NOT the mom's!). We took pictures and discussed how lucky Rylan and Anthony Joseph was to have 2 topless little honey's and not even realize it! (Bianca and I are hoping this scenario doesn't repeat itself in high school!)

Next week I am on vacation...so someone will have to give me some 411 for the blog!

A Mom's night out RECAP
We arrived like it was our birthday and we recieved a sweet sweet SWEET GIFT...called FRREEEEEDDDDDDDDOOOOMMM! The smiles were larger then life, we had on GOING OUT-outfits without an encrusted cherrio on them, HEELS, and get this...this is a BIG one....we had SMALL purses without a diaper in them! WHO KNEW we could be cute and stylish, and talk about things OTHER then our babies! Fabulous!
We had a few round of drinks...nobody fell, or slurred words, or danced on the bar, or even flashed their downward facing dog mom boobs! We all handled our liquer well...or maybe it was the pitcher of water that Kerri ordered to keep us all hydrated! We all ate up some great appitizers too! One very special Mom...wanted to eat a little more then the rest of us.....BECAUSE SHE IS PREGNANT WITH NUMBER TWO!!!! EMILY...I think I can speak for all of us when saying...WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER FOR YOU! (AND WE CAN'T WAIT TO SNUG YOUR BABY NEXT FEBRUARY!) How exciting! And the baby itch begins for the rest of us!
Our night away was a HIT...and probably would have continued if not for the down pour of rain! I was sad leaving...as I told Kerri I was just getting started for the night :-) We stopped by CVS on the way home and I mentioned to her, "isn't it sad that we are going home early enough to go to CVS?" ...and then our reality hit...Our little ones won't be "sleeping in" tomorrow, and even besides that, we just can't "hang" like we used too! BUT HEY...at least we can HANG at ALL right?

Elmo is a HIT! As we try to beat the heat!
Today our group made it to MY Place restaurant for breakfast and an Elmo appearance. From the moment Elmo entered to room to the moment he left all baby eyes were on him! Ashley had the best place to sit for great pics, Melody enjoyed blowing him kisses, Rylan liked poking at him, Penelope was a bit shy and held on to her Mom tight, and Anthony Joseph posed for the camera for a great pic! We were also lucky enough to have Jenn & Maggie, Rebecca & Nick, and Lisa & Tommy join us! All kids and moms from our former "baby" group. After talking to them I realized we need to try to get together as a larger group. So we are attempting other activities to do as a larger group, and we are even having a MOMS NIGHT OUT this FRIDAY! Who will be dancing on the bar by the end of the night? You VOTE...I vote PAM :-) Kidding Pam...well...maybe not SO much!
Getting together is always a great time with such a great group of moms and kids! We are always bound to have a good time. Next up is Candlewood Lake tomorrow as a larger group, and My house next Tuesday for the smaller group!
The next posts should be filled with summer pics of the kiddies, and maybe even some of our night of refreshing drinks without the kids and hubby's! Good times to be had! (if you miss us this time...make sure to come next!)

1 yr old Maddess
Just as we are counting our blessings that we are no longer worrying about being up for 20 hours in a day with a infant, or examining poop color shape or size...we are now onto other bigger and better worries!
Like...temper tantraums, frustration, boredom, picky eating habits, and most of all the separation anixety or the parents rival!
The good ol' today I like daddy better or when you leave the room they cry like you are never ever coming back! Soon enough it will be potty training, and the good ol trying to clean up mom and dads potty mouth because baby says it ALL! All very GOOD reasons to have AT LEAST a 1 a week meeting to share ideas and thoughts! I am starting to think besides having our kids play, and us socialize...we are a wee bit of a support group! :-)
So a quick recap of the homes we have traveled so far:
1st up was Bianca and Anthoney Joseph. Anthony J was the first to turn one so Bianca kindly brought us all together for our first smaller group. Each child became comfortable when Bianca put goldfish in the middle of her coffee table and let them have a go at it. We also learned from this gathering that we can no longer put adult spreads of food on low tables...as our kids are now up in all of our biz! First gathering was a SURE success!
2nd gathering was at Emily and Julia's home! Where the little ladies showed off their party dresses and the boys in their coolest duds because it was a HOT day! Luckily nobody got lost because she lives right down the street from Bianca! We all feasted on a great spread which included double stuffed oreos which seemed like a crowd pleaser! We also admired her wall colors and styling taste. The kids had a great time too playing with Julia's toys and even though they weren't in the exasaucer...they sure did like playing around it and on it!
3rd up was Pam and Melody! This was an important day since it was Ashley's first birthday! I thought I was being so sly and smart when I baked her a cake..opps.. her mom did too. Poor us..2 cakes and pudding Pam made, not to mention a spread (again with oreo's!) We admired Pam's new living room color of yellow, sang happy birthday, and watched the boys scream as we staged a picture on her sofa. Another hit was the fridge magnets! We also enjoyed watching Slim kitty try to escape! I mean who wouldn't with all of those babies in the house ready and willing to pull a cat tail!
4th up was Meredith and Penelope! We all went over to see their new home in Newtown! So cute and private! Meridith spoiled us with a yummy summer coolie and COOL WHIP! I mean what doens't taste good with cool whip..at least Penelope thought so! After a good amount of eating and chatting we all made it outside. It was one HOT HOT sweaty day--so hot we were all willing to put on or bathing suits!! Luckily they had a lovely little pool in the back that fit all mom's and babies! It was wonderful and such a treat!

As you can see I got caught up with uploading a ton of pics of our kids! I mean how could I resist they are SO darn cute right? For those of you that have never ventured through a blogspot of any kind...you can click on all of the link to the left of the colum and see all the pics and blogs posted on all the other pages! Sorry I got a little carried away..but again how could I resisit such cuteness!
