As we come to an end of summer 2007, we enjoy the last tastes of summ--summ summertime! The group gathered today at Meridith and Penelope's home in Newtown.(we missed Kerri and Ashley) As always...a fantastic spread kept all of our bellies full of delight! Julia travled the room to try to find any and all fake and real phones she could talk into. Melody showed off her new skill of being a WALKER! Penelope, (besides being the hostess with the mostess), showed off her signing her manners! Anthony Joseph was a kind friend and gave up his chewed carrot to Rylan. Rylan was a monster. I can say that because I am his mother...but you know if you were there you were thinking it too! UGH...he screamed and nothing pleased him except for some time in the POOL! Speaking of pool...Penelope is A FISH. She can be dunked, slapshed, and poured on and that kid is still smiling. Julia and Rylan both took accidential dunks and didn't CRY! Eventhough my boy was a monster 90% of the day...he did walk about 6-7 steps in the pool and was excited about it!
Next week we host at our crib! Hopefully the weather will still be warm and we can still use our pool for a last hurrah!
