Childrens play on a rainy day

This Tuesday was Kerri's turn to host! She hosted all of us wet cats that came in from the raining cats and dogs day! We missed Pam and Bianca this week because they were on a job for Kerri. But Melody did not miss the group (kerri was babysitting)! I think we were all happy to be together since we missed last week. It has become clear that we all look forward to our weekly gathering for our adult interaction and a love for watching our kids intermingle. Kerri was kind enough to let me bring my niece to group who was visiting in town for a few days while her parents are on a mini-child free-vk. Ava was excited to be the oldest kid in the crowd (she is 2 1/2) but soon got tired from all the playing and conked out on Kerri's couch. Rylan took a mini nap in Ashley's crib and was just like his shirt...grouchy! Julia had a few time outs with her mom in the hallway and continued to accidentally walk into the corner of the dining room table! Penelope tried to escape a few times to try and get into some trouble...but her mom knew what was up when Penelope stopped to look back to see if her mom was watching. Ashley was a fantastic host and let her friends borrow all of her toys, and often gave me a few books to read to her (she must of known the teacher in the bunch!), and Melody enjoyed her sleep, snacks, and friends. Next week we are off to see Meridith and Penelope!
