Since Spilt Milk has lacked some love since the summer months hit, and I seem to pay more mind to my other blog paying for the groceries, I figured I should step it up and give the viewers of this site something to read.
Here is a "MAD CAP UPDATE" of the Spilt Milk members:
Julia has not only adjusted to being a big sister to beautiful, happy baby Lillian, she also has had some other major changes in her life! Her parents happily bought a new home in her mom and dad's hometown! Julia's mom worries that Julia might end up with the same teachers someday, but the perks are she knows it is a great place to raise kids! While renovating, they are staying with family, and Julia is sleeping in a big girl bed without any transition and acting like she has ALWAYS slept in one.
Ashley is well on her way at being 100% potty trained. She also is dealing with some adjustments in her home, as her family has welcomed a new family member--a DOG! Shelby is a beauty, but Ashley would like the dog to understand she was here FIRST. Ashley recently took a major driving excursion from CT to Ohio! She loves to be one of the ladies, and is never far with a listening ear of what the Moms are chatting about!
Anthony Joseph is gearing up for a BIG change coming this Fall. The arrival of his brother is approaching soon (and AJ's mom is at the point right now that sooner is better :-) )! Anthony J also had an easy switch to a big boy bed, and continues to act like he always has slept in one. He enjoyed a great trip to Italy a few months back to visit family, and before baby number 2 is born.
Melody is a born actress--the more drama and imagination the better! She continues to use her massive vocabulary, and enjoys carnival rides! She used to be afraid of water, and wearing shoes--but luckily she has come over these fears this summer. Melly has had a loaded summer filled with fun times which will include an upcoming visit to Hershey Park! Her mother also informs me that Melody insists she walk around with pink nails now!
Rylan is feeling out his boundaries, and finally talking! He too may be heading into some major life changes, as the family is in the process of buying a new home. Rylan has had a busy summer with beaching it in CT, Aruba, and Rhode Island. He is at the start of potty training, has had his first stitches, and is obsessed with school buses.
Penelope is swimming like a fish. She seriously should have been born with gills. She loves to socialize and greets everyone with a welcome smile and a big ol' "HI"! She enjoyed her summer thus far with good times to be had with friends and family, including a visit to Sesame Place! She has been watching her Mommy's belly grow, and knows something is up! This Fall she will be a big sister to a baby brother! I am sure we will be a big help during feedings and diaper changes!
The Group as you can see is in for a variety of major life changes! We are so happy that we have been able to stick together for two years so far, and hope that no matter which way the road of change may lead us, that we will continue to be in each others lives and will always have this bond of our first kids growing up together!
