This week at Bianca's house

Mom's Group Light

This week it was our turn (Bianca and Anthony Joseph) to host playgroup. It was a smaller but intimate crowd. Emily surprised us by showing up for a quick appearance. Though baby Lillian has yet to make her formal induction to the group, Big Sister Julia had her friends all to herself. Kerri, (who we discovered was called "Aunt Ki-ki" buy her nephew) Ashley, Meridith and Penelope also came by for the fun. Aimee and Rylan were unable to make it due to an appointment, and Melody's nap schedule had her napping in the late afternoon, so Pam decided to call out. We had an extra addition at playgroup with my (Bianca) younger sister Katie who was here on winter break. She was a help getting things ready before everyone arrived and played with all the kids. There was a remarkable connection between her and Julia and they looked as if they were long lost soul mates!
It was Kerri and Ashley's first day out in about a week, so Ashley enjoyed releasing some pent up energy. Meridith recapped her weekend entertaining and spoke of her upcoming plans for the bachelorette party as Penelope was doing a good job sharing and playing. Anthony Joseph seemed to be a little more distant from the girls today as he woke up late and cranky from his nap to a house full of people. He spent most of the time watching "Thomas the Train." I announced to the group that we booked out trip to Italy. It will be overlapping the afternoon with Anita Renfroe on May 1st, so I will have to refund or scalp my ticket. Meridith is also making vacation plans like for this summer, A disney cruise-The ideal family get-a-way! As the spring and summer are slowly approaching we are all making fun plans, be it vacations, weekend get-a-ways, Birthdays and such. Until then, this Friday night is our mom's night out at two steps, and next week we are back over at Pam's again. Sorry, we were slacking a little this week and no one took pictures. I guess we will have to double up next time! Have a good week everyone. :)
