This entry is written by the Host Pam since I was unable to attend group due from a family loss:
We were glad to host this week with a surprise Mardi Gras theme. Although we dearly missed Aimee, we have her entire family in our prayers during this time of loss. Rylan, however was able to party and enjoy the festivities. Emily & Julia missed this week also, because Emily was not feeling up to it. As it turned out, she actually welcomed Lillian into her family while we were enjoying po' boys and moon pies. The beads were a big hit, and Anthony actually showed us a little skin for some! Look out ladies! Ashley had one too many moon pies, and decided to run around the house chasing Penelope and having a great time of it. All of the kids played really well together, and there were very few 'terrible two' moments. Maybe there's hope for them to learn how to share after all!
We look forward to next week where we will invade Kerri's house for our Valentines Day party.
